Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt
She doesn't know I'm writing this, so it will be a surprise. I'm going to share my version of the story with all of you. It all started the night of January 24th. A co-worker that we both work with was trying to hook Jo up with a different guy, but he was too scared to go meet Jo by himself, his first mistake. So Carmen the co-worker got together a bunch of people and we all went out. Carmen picked me up on the way to the place that we were going to meet up, since my house was on the way. When we arrived Jo was waiting patiently. Carmen introduced us, and I fell in love. The amazing blue eyes and smile. You can sure get lost in that smile! So we talked a little bit, but it was loud and hard to hear so conversation was kept to minimum. The other guy showed up with a bunch of friends shortly after we got there. He asked her to dance and then went off, I could tell that she was very uncomfortable and didn't want to dance, his last and final mistake. I took the opportunity and started talking to her at the end of the night I walked her out to her car and we stood there and talked for like 2 hrs, but it only seemed like minutes. At the end of the conversation I asked her when I was going to see her again and she replied in a couple of weeks when your at the main office for training. I said what if i can't wait that long, and see just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I was fishing for her phone number, but she didn't get the hint, so I finally asked whats your phone number and the rest is history. I'm really lucky to have Jo in my life, she truly is a great person and that special someone that i want to spend the rest of my life with... Jason is also a great person to be with. He is funny, smart, lovable, kind, shy, service oriented, very patient, loving, he is easy to talk to, fun to be with, makes me laugh.
I want Jason to know that I am grateful for him in my life. It has been a great experience getting to know him and as we continue to grow our friendship that we get to know each other more and learn from each other in many aspects of our lives from different backgrounds and defences in life. I know that the Lord's hand is in all things. I know that through time things will happen and develop more. It has been difficult dating a nonmember but I have grown to love and appreciate my mission and what it taught me in sharing the gospel to a friend that needs it most in his life at this time. Life brings many challenges and through the gospel it can bring peace to our lives through our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that it is in His timing that miracles are brought.
